She publishes articles about the latest trends, gives interviews in the media, and writes columns about how to choose the right hotel for short and long stays. She is changing the hospitality industry in Poland with passion, visiting many establishments. She travels a lot, looking for her own definition of hotel service standards and compares hotels in different countries.
President and founder of the Family Friendly Hotel Campaign, which since 2008 has been certifying hotels that meet defined criteria for stay and equipment for families with children. For creating the Campaign, in 2011, she has been awarded the prestigious award “Hit Mamo To Ja – the best for kids category”. Her achievements in the tourism industry were recognised in 2015 as she has been awarded the Honorary Medal of the Minister of Sport and Tourism Mr Tomasz Jedrzejczak. She cooperates with one of the best hotel schools – Hotelschool The Hague (top 5 in the world rankings of hotel schools).
The founder and owner of Etirez, an agency specialising in B2B marketing communication strategies, cooperating with companies such as Philips Lighting, Orbis (Accor), Ricoh, Virtual Lessons, Trillux, Polish State Railways (PKP Intercity), WARS, General Electric, NBC Universal and Poznan University of Economics.
For many years she has been actively involved with the media. Some of her TV andjournalism experience was gathered while preparing travel shows for the Warsaw Television Center and Radio for You. Over the course of the last 4 years she has produced over 40 marketing movies (case studies), and reports. Currently she is a hospitality expert columnist in VIVA! Mama, VIVA! Violetta is the initiator of a classification and recommendation system for hotel suppliers, which was created in frames of the Polish Chamber of Hotel Commerce Commission for Suppliers, which she chaired for 3 years.
She has many years of experience as a manager and board member of companies associated with the hospitality and tourism sectors.
Violetta is a certified coach, specialising in life & executive CBC (Cognitive Behavioural Coaching) based on making changes by changing the way of thinking. At the heart of her activities as a coach, she applies Emerson’s motto “The ancestor of every action is a thought”. Her theoretical and practical knowledge was acquired at courses accredited by Middlesex University and Association for Coaching in the United Kingdom.
She applies this knowledge in project management, which are based on the cooperation between different people and companies, and even competitors.
She organised the bureau and was the first employee of the Polish Chamber of Tourism (PIT), which has been present on the market for 25 years. Author of the PIT logo, in use by the organisation since 1991. For many years she has been the director of The British Tourist Authority (currently Visit Britain) in Poland, promoting tourism to Great Britain, cooperating with media and hospitality businesses in Poland and in the United Kingdom.
The hands-on experience is combined with theoretical knowledge as a Ph.D. student at the Warsaw School of Economics, lecturer and coach. Her Ph.D. thesis is concerned with the sphere of marketing relations in management. She completed a 3 year Ph.D. programme at WSE. Violetta is now preparing for the defence. She completed her M.A. studies in strategic management and strategic marketing, and obtained an MBA at Oxford Brookes University.
She is the initiator of a reviewed collective publication by Ph.D. graduates from the Warsaw School of Economics’ Business Science Collegium about “The Methodology of Scientific Research”, for which she was awarded the Collective Prize of the Dean for scientific accomplishments. She is the co-author of the chapter entitled “Ways of Maintaining Clients’ Loyalty on the B2B Market” in the reviewed publication “Effective Business Management in Practice”.
In the years 2004-2016 she was the Chair of the Warsaw School of Economics Ph.D. Discussion Forum, which organised meetings between young Ph.D. students and representatives from the world of science and business.
She completed the course and received a state-issued diploma for members of the supervisory board of state-treasury companies.
